Procedures and Rules for applying license to take forest produce on prepayment of royalty (Form 2)

1. Applicant must be Brunei citizen or Brunei permanent resident.

2. The application is for the taking of forest produces limited for personal use only and not for business or sales except with the permission of the Director of Forestry.

3. Copy of IC of applicant and assistant (worker) should be attached with the application.

4. Please state the type of land owned [T.O.L / Geran / Government Land] and, if necessary, attach a rough map showing the position for the taking of forest produce.

5. A copy of letter of permission from landlord, if it involves the taking of forest produce on T.O.L or ‘tanah bergeran’ belonged to other people, and the letter of permission from the Village Head (for government land) should be included.

6. Applicant is not allowed to take any forest produce before the approval and permission by the Department.

7. Royalty payment for forest produce will be charged in addition with service charge of $10.00 for each approved application.
